I have been through a thing or two in life, and have always wanted to share whatever I know, with the world. I’ve made many attempts at various technologies and places, but have never found any to hold my attention. This new beginning on wordpress is another such attempt. Let’s see how long I actually stay here.

For those who don’t know me, I’m a Pakistani down to the core, and have made my birthplace Karachi my home. Born on 16-August-1964, I was educated to be an Electrical Engineer (class of 1985). Today, I’m anything but an electrical engineer. Somewhere along the way I became a self-taught programmer and ended up starting a software venture called Kolachi Advanced Technologies. I’m also a director on Blue Ice Technologies.  I was fortunate enough to have chaired  P@SHA (the representative body of the I.T. industry in Pakistan) from January 2008 to 23rd-June-2008.

I have been responsible for setting up Mensa Pakistan, and jointly starting Loose Ends Pakistan.

I have been pursuing a media career as well with my debut appearance on Loose Ends, a TV show which achieved amazing popularity and renewed my faith and belief in Pakistan.  I co-hosted the breakfast show on Dawn News from June 2007 to March 2008, but finally couldn’t resist my calling.  Samaa TV has been kind enough to allow me to do a meaningful show called Ankahi which I hope is working towards creating “personal awareness”.
