About Me18-May-2009
For those who don’t know me, I’m a Pakistani down to the core, and have made my birthplace, Karachi, my home. Born on 16-August-1964, I was educated to be an Electrical Engineer (class of 1985), but today I’m anything but that. I started my professional career in the family business called Emzed Engineering which has been involved in electrical equipment since before I was born, but that was not me. I had to try something on my own, and thus I got onto the I.T. bandwagon in 1996. I had to become a DIY programmer and did actually write a lot of code in the early years. However, nature did some “prodding” in 2006, and steered me towards the rapidly evolving media industry, with which I have been associated ever since. I also belive that life is about more than just getting married, reproducing , and earning a living. The line “What man is a man that doesn’t change for the better the world he lives in?” from the movie Kingdom of Heaven (said by Balian of Ibelin), is the core of my life philosophy. This pursuit of change has kept me involved in many things including, Jaycees, Mensa, Loose Ends Pakistan, and now “People’s Action Movement” and “One Pakistan One Nation”. You can use the following for a more detailed look into the things I have been doing. |
