Talk google to me

I love Google Talk, and more and more want everyone who wants to talk to me, to use this exclusively.  The needless weight of Yahoo, MSN, and AOL messengers is too much; and I’m yet to gain any real appreciation for Skype.

My favorite chat program just got even better.  Whether you’re already using Google Talk or not, I suggest you go straight to the Google Talks Labs Edition.

  1. That’s interesting because I too have slowly drifted away from other IM networks to Jabber (the protocol behind Google Talk). I can’t recall the last time I signed in into some other network.

  2. Quite right, GoogleTalk is seriously a great thing to happen, and for the likes of me who doesn’t like to be bugged by flashy animation and windows, I prefer the soft and light-weight app that gets through anywhere…. What’s more, I use AIM on my Gmail Chat, for my US clients. And its just perfect!

  3. by the way, you can actually merge all your msn, yahoo, aol or icq contacts into gtalk… just takes a few tricks, and that would be it :)

let me know if anyone would like to know…
