VBlog-002 Need for power

18-April-2008. The nation has no food, education, or health services, while the politicians are fighting over bullet-proof vehicles, and not enough police security. I’ve finally understood why people fight for power in Pakistan.

  1. Unfortunately, the state of the nation is truly something beyond me. I hope to see it better, yet it goes far backward than I even think it would.

By the way, great program today (18 April). Worth watching.

  2. People gain power to shape their lives, and once they did then they fight for power to save their lives…. just replace ‘power’ with ‘class’ and you will see the politics in our homes :)

  3. It’s always been this way. The only difference is that with a relatively free media, it just comes to attention more and more.

The root of it all is not political but moral corruption.

  4. This is surprising that on 18th of june 2008 your topic was against your show. both of your guests were speaking english while they were insisting to promote urdu.
Secondly when I told you that I want to work with you, you asked for my C.V. and when I sent you replied that you dont have job. you even dont know that working relationship and empliyment has a huge difference.

    thanks & regard.

  5. Dear Mr. Naqvi,

1/ I can’t really be held responsible for the guest’s conduct or language. :-)

2/ If you tell me you want to “work with me”, what am I supposed to expect from that?

    With regards
