And they always happen in waves. Someone just sent me this news item about another man (accused of theft) beaten to death in Karachi http://bit.ly/9dMC4d.

Since I haven’t yet verified the news item, I say that even if this one is not credible there will be at least one more credible incidence which would prepare the supposedly educated civil society for what may be in store.

Don’t forget the Swat flogging video. It’s purpose and credibility should now be quite apparent to those who see with their eyes open.

Not because lie, cheat, bribe, and steal.

Not because we reproduce faster than cockroaches.

Not because we have no respect for animals.

 

But because even after education, travel, affluence, and awareness, all we do is take pleasure in all of the above.  

Because each and everyone of us sees it all like a horror reality show.

Because we are a nation of sick, deranged, demented, and disgusting people who quietly sit and watch these atrocities when a single twitch of our finger could stop it all.

We are a barbaric and sick people.
